Because Power BI connects to the SQL Data Warehouse in the cloud, other business users can use SQL Server Reporting Services to quickly and easily generate reports.
With Power BI, the Maritz internal sales team can visualize data to help substantiate a client’s strategic business review or show the return on investment of a particular program and its campaign activities. Maritz’s internal marketing organization also uses Power BI to measure client engagement per email campaign, the earning patterns of certain personas, and the popularity of redeemable items from the company’s e-commerce storefront.
Data is king here. We run a couple thousand incentive programs a year, and by having all the data from those programs in our Personalization Cloud in the Azure SQL Data Warehouse, we can give our customers really valuable insights about making programs work well in their environment and industry.
